On 4 & 5 December 2025, a member of the Nonis Clinical Laboratory team participated in a specialised Internal Auditor Training Seminar for CYS EN ISO 15189:2022, further strengthening our commitment to high-quality diagnostic services and international accreditation standards.
Across Cyprus, an increasing number of clinical laboratories are adopting the ISO 15189 accreditation framework to demonstrate technical competence, independence, and reliability in their diagnostic results. Accreditation plays a key role in supporting accurate patient diagnosis, monitoring, prognosis, and treatment—enhancing trust among healthcare professionals and patients.
To maintain and continuously improve compliance with ISO 15189 requirements, laboratories must conduct internal audits led by trained and competent auditors. Internal auditing is a vital mechanism for identifying risks, nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement within the Quality Management System (QMS).
As part of this ongoing commitment, our team successfully completed training aligned with ISO 15189:2022 and the auditing guidelines of CYS EN ISO 19011:2018.
